Got her early last year and absolutely loving every minute!

Lovely Giulia. They look great on the TZ wheels.
Why thank you sir - I tend to agree! smile

Near the top of the Foscagna Pass near Livigno in the Italian Alps.

Looks a lovely spot and a gorgeous car. The Italians love seeing a British Registered Alfa Romeo in their own country. We took my Alfa Alfa 159 down to Italy in 2013 and we got much adulation from the locals.

Thanks, we’ve had plenty of waves and headlight flashes while we’re here. Still not seen many Guilas or Stelvios even in Italy though.

See what today brings, we’re off to the Alfa museum.

I’m sure you’ll have a great time at the Museum. Whilst we have never been (yet) further south then Rome, over the last 15 years or so we’ve seen less Alfa Romeo’s over there and the place appeared to have not that many dealers.

The Audi A4 a few years ago seemed to be the prestige car of choice in Northern / Mid Italy.

Now on my drive, I have not seen a 156 as old as this in the flesh before, registered March 98.

Agreed, we’ve only seen two dealers excluding the one at the museum. Loads of VW, Audi and Merc dealers though, and German cars do seem to be the prestige choice for Giulia size cars as at home.

The museum is superb, best car museum I’ve been to with loads of road and racing cars on display, including Larini’s 1993 155 V6 Ti DTM car which I saw win at Donington. It made me feel really old when I realised that was 29 years ago!

Anyway, here’s another gratuitous pic of mine.

Catch of the day:

Alfa Romeo Montreal has to be one of the prettiest 70s cars. Gandini design.

GT office. It's not a racer although it has the 2.6 litre dry sump V8 in.

Wibble. Just wibble.

Never thought the Montreal "pretty" always thought of it as the '70s Italian muscle car, just like the Vantage was the British one.

It's hardly muscle. More soft GT. Although the enigine has racing pedigree it's a cruiser.
And pretty? Last week it drew the crowd's eye indeed. Maybe because it's a rare sight.

Did someone say "Italian Muscle Car"?

With apologies for being slightly O/T, if that's not a prompt for a link to some pics of an Iso Grifo, I don't know what is!

One of the few cars that I'd sell my Alfas for...sadly, I'd still be a very large pile of money short.
