I'm really starting to hate modern cars, my 2017 Giulietta albeit only the 1.4 version drives lovely and has 0 modern gadgets, none of this lane departure and active cruise etc, you just drive it.

But my god I really need a Giulia QV (in red of course) in my life! that thing is gorgeous!!

Alfa Romeo SZ basically is a hip looking coupe by Zagato based on a shortend 75. Stylish and odd, quick and sounding good, thanks to a 3 litre 12v Busso.

Bumped into this one at an Octane meeting last June.

This or a 911 G model anyone?

Is it in my mind or are these getting appreciated more by time?

Its a pure fact that when Harry Metcalfe reviewed one, quite positively, his amount of viewers meant the model got widely known again, even among youngsters (below 40). The same actual car later was driven by Henry Catchpole and others, who most prob saw Harry's film. And so on! smile

Wonder if that's my old one?! If the reg ended in '522' then it could be.

My dream car; I should never, ever, ever have sold it. I'll get another one day.

I have and had lots of great Alfas and Lancias but the SZ is one that I really need!

Just back from 2000kms tour from London to Spain in the GTJ. Didn't miss a beat and performed faultlessly alongside some much faster and more exotic cars in our group. The long stints on the motorway got tiring but it really came into its own on the twisty Spanish roads. Such a great car.

Wow, that sounds and looks superb. The other green Alfa seems OK as well.

If you can then you must. The driving experience is as incredible as its looks; whether in it or out of it, it delivers. It was replaced by an integrale which I struggle to summon any positive sentiment for.

Weather was spot on, warm and sunny but not so hot that the car or I overheated!
