You can get cheaper ones but the they cause the flashing odometer issue
Thanks for the link…I’ll look into that.

I've just MOTd my daughters black 1.4 Multiair, great little runabout and 47mpg according to the computer!

She just plugged in a blutooth/USB thing that your phone links to and sends a radio signal to the radio. Works quite well but I suspect the speakers could be upgraded a bit...
I had thought of that but thought the quality of those Bluetooth thingy’s wasn’t very good?
Could give that a try…
This Mito is a “Live” special edition, apparently with a 9 speaker system and quite a good subwoofer and I must admit listening to the standard radio in it it’s pretty good…just no ability to stream music other than connecting an iPod.

My daughter plugs her phone into her 2012 Mito 1.3 JTDM and it works fine through the speakers. The quality of the standard speakers is really quite good and years ago I did many thousands of miles in that car.

Young people seem to love Mito’s.

Roel's AR Berlina is no garage queen and looks great as it is. Superb dash this.

Roel's AR Berlina: a Bertone masterpiece.
Agree with you that is a wonderful looking dashboard, but that’s a Lancia Fulvia dash smile

The USB "BT > Radio frequency > Car Stereo" do compromise on quality and can interfere with listening to the actual radio.

There are lots of cheapy BT solutions on eBay, but mixed reviews.

I went on a recommendation from AlfaOwners and bought a BT module that plugs into the back of the standard radio using the CD Disk Changer connection. (I have a 159, and my son bought same one for his Punto Abarth)

It's very good, all hidden behind the dash, and connects to my phone automatically when I get in.

Look for Autoteile-Dresden24 seller on eBay, item is called Bluetooth Music Adapter Alfa Romeo 147 156 159 Brera Mito GT Connect .

It's a bit more expensive, but it works!

2013 2.0JTDM daily beater Giulietta. Now on close to 150k miles. Recent clutch and (much needed!) cambelt means plenty of life in the old girl yet.

Had a GT86 a couple of years back, but sold that to help pay for our wedding and with some of the proceeds bought this as my commute went from 3 miles round trip to 60 around the same time.

Fully intend to drive this into the ground. Does a great job and has really only ever needed consumables. Paintwork is scabby, it being red, but I literally do not care. Steering is a bit vague and might need some rear bushes but hey its just a motorway cruiser

He is also a very nice guy. He deserves to be known in the entire AR world.

Not sure how well this is known, but I was at Alfa Workshop last week and they shared with me that Ned Kirkham from Auto Lusso had passed away Oct of last year - https://www.alfaowner.com/threads/rip-ned-kirkham-...

I've sold me Alfa GT V6 to one of the chaps at Alfa Workshop. I've had it about 15 years and it was seeing very little use.

For those interested in watching Alfa Romeo's racing, the 2026 calendar for the Alfa Romeo & Italian Intermarque Championship is stunning - with visits to the Brands Hatch GP circuit and the Oulton Park Gold Cup weekend. In 2025, ARIIC had the highest % grid increase (compared to 2024) of any of the 120+ motorsport Championships racing in the UK, averaging 24 cars on the grid. In 2026 we are aiming for 30 cars and we have also launched our Pre 85 Alfa Romeo Series which will be racing at Snettetton, Cadwell Park, BH Indy & Silverstone. The grid will feature multiple 4C's, Guilietta World TCR cars, Mito's and much, much more!!

25-26 April Snetterton 200
30-31 May Donington Park National
13-14 June Cadwell Park
11-12 July Brands Hatch GP
09 August Brands Hatch Indy (Festival Italia)
29-31 Aug Oulton Park
11-12 Oct Silverstone National Finals weekend

On the note above, an excuse to add a pic of mine..

And one to aspire to re future grid numbers, I’m in a red 33 near the pit wall (I’ll credit pic to Alfaracer.com which is where I think I found it a long time ago)

Some events are alongside the Alfa Romeo & Italian Intermarque Championship, so you get to see a double whammy of Alfas.

Info here: https://hscc.org.uk/championships/105-cup/

2026 provisional calendar:
25-26 APRIL: SNETTERTON 200 – 2x 20MIN (SUNDAY)
30-31 MAY: DONINGTON PARK – 2x 20MIN (SUNDAY)
13-14 JUNE: CADWELL PARK – 2x 20MIN
11-12 JULY: LEGENDS OF BRANDS HATCH SUPER PRIX – 2x 20MIN
24-26 JULY: SILVERSTONE CLASSIC – 2x 20MIN
08-09 AUGUST: CASTLE COMBE HSCC 60TH ANNIVERSARY – 2x 20MIN (SUNDAY)
29-31 AUGUST: OULTON PARK GOLD CUP – 2x 20MIN

I'll be at 4 or 5 of those in My "Banana Volante":

A few of us have entered the pair of 40 minute Saturday races at Spa Summer Classic (25th April), which might be easier for you.
Or do both wink

April 24th was in my dairy, but our group now planned a 3 hour rural route trip to a hidden Lancia specialist.

UK is a good option when the sun shines, right?

March 15 2026, Alfa Romeo specialist Van Neerijnen Parts Day

Easily a #DauwtrappeRS favorite is Niels' upgraded 105 Giulia by Balocco.

Quite a few raw 105 Giulia cars. Liking the white nose matching the sunvisor.

1974 GTV looks the bits.

Maybe I need a snake on my car as well.

Cool as fook headlight protection.

1989 threelitre 75 in the ultimate spec.

Perfection with a Busso.

I love this orange-ish red.

1973 GTV or Junior, I can't tell.

Sorry for spoiling this topic!
