The 75 is my favourite Alfa, but I'm also old enought to remember how Alfistas hated the America bumpers when they came out (even more so when we found out they were almost 100kg extra
)Being that old, I'm swapping to the euro bumpers (also cleaner design). But its a matter of taste in the end.

Some from AROC track day April 2025 at Castle Combe.
This year there are two members only with an Alfa Romeo only track days. Castle Combe 1st April: sold out, but free to spectate (no dogs, over 18s only).
Then also 21st October at Donington, still a few tickets available (see club website).

A Sunny bank holiday at the start of April seemed the perfect time to de-sorn the 156 GTA.

Its on slightly lowered coilovers and uprated ARBs and always feels slightly crashy on poor surfaces for the first couple of miles. By about 5 miles into the "long route" to the supermarket, I'm 100% in love with it again, it is just an absolute peach of a car.

Based on that picture I d have to agree. The 1st round of the Alfa Romeo & Italian Intermarque Championship takes place at Snetterton this coming weekend - 24 car grid, with 2x Alfa Romeo 4C's, a couple of ex-European Touring Cars, lots of 156 & 147 GTA's, Giulietta's and even a couple of 33's and 146 models. Plus Jamie Thwaites's stunning ex Romeo Ferraris World TCR car (the 2nd one will be out from Donington onwards).

Awoken for the summer. Connect battery, turn over and starts. Simple, after 6 months off. MOT booked next week so need to evict the spiders and a bit of a clean.
Then will be by local daily for the summer.
