I could post this in the Alfa thread aswell. Lister Bell Stratos replica with an Alfa 2.5 v6 from a 156. It's all finished, I'm just cutting through the swathes of red tape to get it road legal down here in NZ. It's taken me almost four years to build, and should be road legal in the next month.

Thanks, I'm aching to drive it! Out of the garage and straight onto a trailer is getting a bit annoying.

Speaking of which; Dutch tuner Squadra tuning is currently building a Lister Bell Stratos with 4C hard- and software; 4C engine, TCT gearbox, CAN bus with ABS, stability and traction control, DNA+R, digital dash and tyre pressure monitoring. Unfortunately not the cf tub.

Wont that just make it a heavier 4c in a stratos suit? Not sure if i see the point in that, unless you happen to have a 4C which has written off the carbon tub, but kept the driveline intact.

Now imagine a stratos replica with the 2.9 v6 from the giulia QV in the back eek

My Beta Coupe 2.0 - Pic taken last weekend during a run out in North Yorkshire. Had for almost 30 years, my second ever car, still love it!

That's a lovely looking Beta in a nice but unusual colour. Has it been restored?

The colour (Capri Blue) was quite popular for late pre-injection Coupe and HPE models.

Acquired the car in early 1990, was mechanically sound but had rotten outer sills, rear turrets and sunroof aperture and a poorly repaired rear panel and bent rear bumper. I ran it as a daily driver for six months then had the body repaired where it needed and repainted. Car then became a weekend plaything and an HPE took its place for daily duties. Car was off road in storage for a couple of years about ten years ago then in 2012 I put it back on the road after some minor mechanical fettling. Bodywork still in good shape following work in 1990 and paint work untouched since then.

Hi all,

first time poster here on PH. Here is a couple of pictures of my Beta Volumex, and Dedra Turbo. I have two Delta HF Turbos too, but don't have any pictures on this PC at the moment. I will start a thread about one of them separately soon as I am in the process of rebuilding.

Hello and welcome - where have you been hiding these. Haven't seen a Dedra turbo for ages, more pictures please.

Thanks Arguti. the Beta was my uncles, and had been in a garage since 1996. He died at the end of last year, and at the beginning of this year I bought her off my cousin for £600. I got her running and driving in a couple of hours, but requires a full restoration.

The Dedra I bought last year for £400 from someone who was going to scrap her as she needed sills welding. I welded new sills on and she flew through the MOT. I have been using her almost as a daily around the Nottingham area, but also frequently taking her to Essex, Bristol and even Swansea and have covered 5000 miles in her this year She just loves being on the road, although I am debating SORNing her today/tomorrow and garaging her for the winter. She looks a bit tatty, which I am slowly addressing, but she is mechanically and electrically sound.

I don't have any more pictures on this PC, but when I am home Thursday I shall post more up on all of them.
