Very hit and miss, sometimes good other times very frustrating, the service can let it down and a noise door to the kitchen that gets kicked all to often, not pleasant when you are sat opposite it.

Telford - The Crown Inn. Unofficially the best pub in Telford if real ale is your thing. Never less than 8 real ales from independant breweries served; Budweiser Budvar (both normal and black varieties), Leffe Blonde, Amstel lagers on tap; always one hand-pulled cider available; bottled beers including Baltika, Hobsons, Duvel, Piraat, Kreik, Frambozen. Waters Upton - The Lion. Curry in a pub. Serves more madras than Marstons though. Raj's Jalfrezi has a great kick with a smoky background flavour. Wonderful. - smiller
Wellington - The Old Orleton. Contemporary dining in an old coaching house. Small menu full of food exceptionally cooked.
Wellington/Uffington - The Horsehoe on the 'old A5'. Good local/guest beers, menu for weekday and Saturday lunches has something for everyone. Sunday lunch menu is excellent. Dogs allowed in the bar area - RESSE

Somerset
Taunton- The Willow tree restaurant- how it hasn't got at least 1 michelin star i don't know. A real gem of a place.

The George - middlezoy. Several time Winner of country pub of the year. Fantastic food, homemade, meats are the best I've tasted (landlord is south African and uses a special BBQ grill). Steaks are the best I have ever had, same with the homemade cheesecake desserts. Friendly atmosphere and beer festivals throughout the year. We go every Friday, let me know if you are coming.

Food was very good and atmosphere/decor was outstanding. Food not cheap ( 7-8 starters, 13-25 Mains 6-7 desserts) staff attentive, but a little lacking in experience. Caerwys Flintshire - the Piccadilly Inn - Gastro Pub/Restaurant Excellent Beer, Excellent Food. Just re-opened after a full refurbishment. Not expensive and excellent service. T1CHS
