After seeing the success of the recent pistonheads trip to the plains i was wondering if anybody would be up for a northern version. No set date in mind but thinking about 3 weeks or so from now on a weekend. I know most of the local lanes so im happy to act as a guide. If your intrested stick your name and vehicle below.

Oh and a few pics from some past adventures might tempt a few along

I have a bog standard LC3 auto but have no off roading experience whatsoever but would love to have a go at something like this but have avoided it so far for fear of cocking up spectacularly!
I'm in if you can entertain a total novice.

I'd be up for that if I can arrange to be at my folks in the Midlands on whatever weekend you decide on. I don't fancy driving my SIII all the way up from London, but my hybrid is sitting in a shed in South Leicestershire -

I'd be up for that with my Cherokee if I'm around on the chosen weekend.

I'd be up for that as long as it happens before the impending arrival the wife and I are expecting. I'm running a 90 with muds and a snorkel. smile

For those worrying about never having done it before relax, i can tailor the lanes to those that are there and my trooper is 100% standard apart from a set of mud terrain tyres. Its mostly rocky surfaces out there though so road biased rubber is fine.

So what dates do people fancy, and is a saturday or sunday best.

Based on this I may well be interested.
I have a bog stock Shogun Sport with road tyres getting due for replacement rolleyes but Ive had an occassional play on rocky stuff before.
Daily / only driver so dont want to risk any damage!

My Ltwt is on ebay but doesn't seem to be selling, so I could be up for this.

I no longer care, sold the Ltwt at last. Some utter scummer stole the roof earlier in the week though so I lost £300 to make the sale.
