BTaP tickets on sale
Tickets go on sale today for the annual Black Tie and Pie event on November 10
BTaP 2012 will be held at Tortworth Court Hotel in Wotton Under Edge, Gloucestershire, a stunning location that allows us to have our own dedicated bar, dining room and dancefloor as well as secure parking and beautiful guest rooms. We have been at this venue for a few years now but it continues to offer the perfect location, and facilities that help to make BTaP a very special night.
What is BTaP? Quite simply it's the most glamourous event in the social calendar, a chance to dress up and meet PHers old and new over a three-course meal and a few drinks before we open up the dancefloor and let the night flow. Throughout the night there will be several opportunities to donate to the BTaP charity Cancer Research, the most popular being our raffle which offers the opportunity to win some great prizes.
A few changes are afoot for 2012, all helping to make the night even better. On the night you can expect the following:
- Pre-dinner drinks in the PH private bar
- A three-course meal featuring pie
- Wine on the table
- After-dinner speeches
- A charity raffle in aid of Cancer Research
- Black Jack and roulette in the bar
- A DJ playing until the end of the evening
- Details of some special evening entertainment will follow soon
For BTaP regulars you'll be pleased to hear that we have enhanced the sound for the evening meaning the speeches will be clearer for all, in addition the raffle will contain fewer items overall but the quality will be increased accordingly and the raffle tickets will be printed just for us in ONE colour!
Room spacing for dining will also be improved and a centrally located speech stage will ensure we address guests as a whole rather than having the room split front/back.
