Fantastic day out, well worth the 21/2 hr drive. Met lots of lovely folk and saw some great cars.

Here are a few pics.

It was a really good meet. The rain held off until mid afternoon, and there were more cars there than I have seen certainly in the last three years. Sadly no early cars at all. The earliest was the third vixen series 2 off the production line. I was hoping we might have seen some 1800s or series ones, so I could check out some body dimensions.

There were some fantastic M series cars, including several 3000s cars. I ve never seen so many!

There were also, I think, 3 Tuscans.

I thought I had taken more photos, but appart from one or two engine bays, and some shots of assemblies I don't have, I must have spent more time jawing than photographing!

I was thinking about Vixens, as I had hoped to see an early vixen for comparison with my car

Mr Meldrums car doesn't look too bad for an old banger does it.

Been busy over the weekend.

Firstly basket case project for sale... in classifieds wink



Then I found this dusty old thing up in the loft...Yours Keith?



Then I blew the tyres up on this old thing I've got lying about





Plenty to do...
Dads going to start clagging that shell together shortly. I will probably be on the phone to you for some info... Also do you do rose jointed wishbones keith?? been having some ideas for car 3

I would have thaught that your barn find is just a weekend project for you to get back on the road seen some not much worse getting MOTS NOW £1500 now thats what i call a bargain compared to none existent 3000s at £24995;)
