M25 Junction at Chertsey Saturday Afternoon

Does anyone know why traffic was being diverted over the top of the Chertsey Junction of the M25 yesterday afternoon. M25 was closed between the off and on junctions. Looked like there was an incident on the carriageway, but appeared no cars were involved.
