I know it seems like for ever away but who is thinking of doing Le Mans 24hr in 2013. It always seems to be the case that someone posts up that they are going about a month before and we end up with a huge crowd saying how they wish they could have got the time off etc etc.

I am definitely going again after my first trip this year, which was great fun. Will follow the same format staying with Adam, Woza and the gang on the Team Langoustine campsite travelling out on the Thursday morning and returning on the Monday afternoon. Obviously I cannot compare it to any other site, but the people, nice cars, location, beers and security they offered was fantastic. I would highly recommend it if your looking for a fun friendly atmosphere without the undesirables ruining things like I hear goes on elsewhere.

It would be good to have as many familiar faces as possible down there this year. I know ECain and Gruffnut are already on it and making plans so just interested to know who else is planning a trip??

Hello mate. I would say the Le Mans forum on here is a good place to start. There are various sites to stay on with ranging reviews. Ferry wise we went Portsmouth to Cherbourg on the fast cat on the Thursday morning and came back on the same route on the Monday afternoon. Worked well.

Think we should all try and get on the same ferry this year. Take as many Go Pros as possible and have a drive down together!!

Glad to see your first time at Le Mans has set into a yearly venture!

For me, well and our group it`s bad news as Karting Nord is being bulldozed for the karting track expansion.

If you ever walked past Karting on your way to the village, you`d have seen us.

Thanks for the info, i'll have a look at the website, I live on Hayling island, so right next to Portsmouth, so that makes it easy for us!

I'm planning on going next year and glad to hook in with you guys for the trip and camping.

Does the fast cat allow LPG equipped cars?

I'm intending on going next year. Did Speed Chills in 2011 which was fantastic, but could be tempted to join the Team Langoustine posse. Will make sure Luke is on board to.

Just need to get a suitable chariot as I now own 0 cars frown

That would be awesome Darren, just need to get in touch with Adam (v8 byf) or woza to reserve a spot on the site as it books up really quickly. Happy to keep you and luke in the loop as far a what ferries we are getting etc so we can get a little group together. Last year was so such a laugh.
