Great day with 993rsr and yellow491 as well as TDT and Lowndes . Great weather , little bit of fun on track and a load of laughing about the bad past and adventures with cars ...... then a Visit to the Green Man where the food was a revelation .
Only draw back was a little too much time sideways as usual in the CGT ........ but was a real laugh
Thanks guys not a real track day fan but that was the way it should be

Fantastic day P:-)
Great to see you everyone new faces and old :-)

What track days are all about IMO, bit of driving bit of laughing not taking it all too seriously and a great yarn over a pie and a pint to end the day.

Yep - just to echo the above - this was a very very cool day.
Track wasn't overrun, weather was awesome and the company wasn't too bad either wink

Nice to catch up with you fellas - so see the metal, chew the fat a little and pick up some handy pointers from seasoned heads.
@Hunter66 - really enjoyed the ride in the 991.2 GT3 RS - that engine is glorious on song.

I've got a nice little video clip of the CGT getting sideways through Becketts - the commitment was high!!.

Had some great fun with a couple of other mates that aren't forum posters, so will leave names out of it.
Was really a great crowd today.

The GT4 was great again..although i need to get 4x new tyres, PRONTO... in order to be able to run @Goodwood this weekend.
The new set-up just allows so much turn in and you can really feel what the car wants to do now...confidence inspiring.

I've got a lot of work to do on smoothing out my inputs, but getting better every time I run, and that's the main objective..to always improve.

Good to put a few faces to forum names while watching the action from a safe distance. laugh
I have a half day on the GP next Monday afternoon and then close the trackday season at Oulton on 31st October, so maybe catch up with some of you there. beer

Yep - your GT Silver CGT is also a lovely thing. Carrera GT is my number one car.

Maybe that's why I love the 981 so much - you can clearly the lineage.

On that note, interestingly, I was flying the GT4 flag by myself yesterday - didn't see any others in the pit lane or on track.
Quite a few 991.2 GT cars though which was good to see them getting use... or maybe just the thing to be seen in.... either way - good work for getting them out guys.

Don't worry TDT we can make up for the lack of GT4s when Oulton comes around at the end of the month. Should be quite a few of us there. Look forward to meeting up again and with Lowndes for the first time. smile
