Considering people pay the almost annual cost of Prime for just 2 months of Sky TV with options ticked for what you are still getting it's amazing value, TV, films, books, music, free games, Prime home delivery. And Prime hasn't gone up for ages, Sky goes up every time the weather changes.

Still a bargain in my view.

We do buy a lot from Amazon and get our monies worth through free delivery; although I do shop around first. Prime TV is an added bonus for us and we watch it quite frequently nowadays.

£4 for four extra months seems like a great deal to me! Think of all the holidays I could take...

Yep, although it easy to get a mega discount with Sky by phoning and threatening to cancel. Still as you say massively more expensive than Amazon. Sky also stops working every time the weather changes. We mostly have it for the delivery, the TV is a Brucie bonus

a lot what is on Amazon TV also needs to be paid for extra. Things like Luther (not sure if I spelt it correctly) was free but now needs to be paid for in addition to the subscription, Tom and Jerry is another.

Weekend every single film I looked at was either extra, redirected to another channel which needed paying for or had ads.

I can imagine Jeff Bezos crying into his panda nose risotto at the thought of losing you.

Luther is only available to stream free currently on Hulu, Hoopla and Britbox at the moment, so you'll have to subscribe to one of them. Or wait for it to come around again on Amazon as they all do. Apple TV, Prime, Vudu is all pay at the moment.

Use the Justwatch app on phone or smart TV to check on availability of series on all platforms. Or the website - https://www.justwatch.com/

Well Jeff needs to do something in order to claw back the $1.7bn he's just splurged in buying iRobot (yeah, that robot vacuum company from about 10 years ago).

So Amazon will know where you live, what your watch, what you listen to, what you say in your home, and now the exact layout of your home!

There is even a charming new TV series on the way called 'Ring Nation' which showcases all the hilarious videos from everyone's doorbells and Amazon home surveillance systems.
