Was just thinking....... The regs for F1 change in 2022 to re-introduce ground effect cars!
At the same time Red Bull design the Valkyrie introducing an extreme ground effect design for Aston (before Stroll turns up).
How much mucking about on the Valkyrie gave Red Bull an opportunity to design the floors of the RB's outside of the cost cap and how much of an advantage did that award them???

From a bit of a Google, the Valkyrie concept was shown to employees in July 2016 and was presumably not sketched overnight on a napkin, the aero philosophy looks to have been pretty consistent from the early concepts to now. I imagine in terms of airflow concept it's probably not hugely different to the concept stuff he did for Gran Turismo in 2010 really...
