All depends how realistic the offers were
Personally i would say anything is realistic in this marke, if anyone is walking into a dealer offering full asking price they have more money than sense, one was cheeky to be fair but then substainly increased (chased both times), one less than 5% off asking. If you dont ask, you dont get.Edited by Streetbeat on Thursday 15th August 14:08

Not just dealers but private sellers too, the 600LT market has had a couple of private sellers consistently pricing their cars higher than main dealers and stubbornly following the market downwards. Although one of those private sales is ironically owned by a dealer
Also some p*ss poor adverts from private sellers asking above dealer prices....I can't believe they have any interest in actually selling just chancing their arm at finding a "motivated" buyer. Still doesnt seem like much is shifting and some very hopeful prices on cars, i.e 2017 car, near 20k miles at £140k.....
Be interesting to see what happens heading into autumn, there might well be some £100k cars but they will be leggy with base spec imo.
One thing is clear though, seems like owners have made good use of them with sensible mileages for the year, im pretty sure they wouldnt have those sorts of mileages and use if they were constantly breaking as non owners would have you believe.

Theres one at £109 you could probably buy at £100k or less now but as Dave says, you probably wouldnt want it.......
A sub £100k will not represent the market, £125k upwads seems to be where the market is, average mileage and spec, maybe that will drop 5-10k over winter but im not sure it will stay there come spring next year.

Unless the rules have changed, the official warranty isn't transferrable when sold through a dealer - although I suspect it's probably SOR and hence trying to work around that.
I don't usually care about number of owners, but 5 owners in 5 years seems a tad high?
The owner won that literally 2 weeks ago on one of those competitions, it's also local to me.I don't usually care about number of owners, but 5 owners in 5 years seems a tad high?
Being the 6 owner would put me off as Dave says, but maybe that's reflected in the price?

Interestingly in the Mc WhattsApp group he said he is keeping the car and not selling it
Maybe the reaisation of insurance/running costs and £130k in the bank has given him 2nd thoughts?I guess anyone who does these comps doesnt "really" expect to win but when you do, a whole host of things you didnt consider suddenly became a reality in the cold light of day.
Well done him though, that must have been some morning waking up to that being delivered

Yes and it is oh so close to being perfect. No glass roof, 2nd choice of colour and I'd really like silver wheels but not a deal breaker as can be changed.
Have had stuff from Amari before and I like the guy and the cars they have in there are generally spot on.
I'm in no major rush, my 40th is next year so I'm happy to bide my time.

Yep it is, but strong money for a 2018, nearly 10k more than the Volcano Red one you posted. It's been for sale since July and I would suggest that grey isnt the most popular colour for a Mclaren. Edited by Streetbeat on Tuesday 26th November 07:32
