[Mods this isn't a car buying thread, please don't move it]

We all read Shed and we all enjoy it, but there must be a winner. For pure Shedism, it's the old: Fast, Reliable, Cheap - pick two. But surely there's more to shedding than that.

Let's say £1500 max, per Shed rules.

Reliability and running costs are a given, but what about driver appeal and coolness? Maybe something flash and fun that breaks a lot is better than something boring and reliable...

What is the Ultimate Shed?

ETA: If we agree on a winner by 19th August, it 100% will get bought. VED and MPG are irrelevant - I daily a 2022 Alpina B5!

I love a shed, wife actually loves a shed (even if she doesn't admit it) and we need a PubKa (so called because the first ever shed was a £300 Ka).

VVC, looks like it may have been well cared for, 1100kg mid-engined sports car for a lot less money than an A110.
Each of the 12(!) owners did 5583 miles apiece! laugh

But at this point I'm buying it in a fortnight. biglaugh

There's plenty of interesting metal upon the Autotrader at sub-1500, most with the dreaded phrase 'spares or repair' at the start of the ad.

However, this might be where my grand-and-a-half might be going for some summer fun => https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202408032...

Now that is absolutely right up my street...

We have a winner for now I think.

I got excited by the Swedish sheds and jumped the gun a bit early.

I have bought a leggy T5 C70 unseen, that may or may not be brilliant! laugh

I'll post some photos when it turns up tomorrow...

Well my 'shed of sheds' has arrived.

I did go slightly over the £1500 limit in the end but I got free delivery to the midlands from Oop North, so I'm claiming a win.

Surprised at how clean it is for the money.

There's 'a bit' of history... This is some of it:

Roof goes down and up ok. One of the rear quarter lights doesn't go all the way down, it wants a sidelight bulb and the AC doesn't blow cold.

It goes better than I expected. I don't know whether the little Polestar badges mean it's mapped or not.

Altogether I'm quite happy. biggrin

Flogged this for a grand last week. Been the wife’s 2nd car for a couple of years, only had 4 owners, 122k miles, big folder of all services, history etc. Everything worked, ice cold aircon, full MOT and just serviced. Quite enjoyed fixing the roof sensor and some other bits myself before we sold it. Will hopefully be a good cheap shed for the people that bought it!

Probably a decent shed for someone.

Maybe someone without eyes? wobblewhistle
