Vixen carpet set
Discussion
GJL- Thank you for replying. I had looked at Coverdale carpets on a trimmer's recommendation, but I am looking for a Burgundy colour and their red carpet was a bit bright for me, so they are on the backburner for now but am really surprised that they have the Vixen carpet patterns so might sway me a bit. If I go further with that though I'll bear in mind the issues you had with the large rear carpet and work around that. Thanks again.
Moto- Thanks to you too and I must say, you've made a cracking job of your interior which has stood the test of time. I am reusing the vinyl that was in the car (beige/light tan in colour in my case) apart from the door cards needing recovering and I sourced the correct Ambla vinyl needed from a trimmer at the NEC Classic Show a few years back. So only need the carpets sorting. As you say, maybe they are relatively easy to make patterns of, but to be honest, if I thought an off the shelf set was out there, for simplicity, I might take the easier route. My wife's pastime is sewing and quilting, so no way would I get near her sewing machines with carpets and therefore would have to take any mates etc that needed edge binding to a trimmer anyway, for that reason. Your results are very good though so a pat on the back there for sure.
