golf clubs in 911
Discussion
I'm looking to move up from a Boxster to a 911 of some sort (probably a 996 C4S).
I'm also a keen golfer, and the Boxster is actually remarkably practical in that regard - a carry bag goes in the rear boot quite easily (with the woods removed).
How does the 911 cope with golf clubs? I guess you have to put them across the back seats? Or fold down the back seats?

not sure about a normal 911 - looks tight from what i rememver.
If you can, and this may sound strange but buy a GT2 or a GT3 without the rear rollbars...the perfect golfers porsche!!
You can Easily get 2 sets of clubs without removing the 'big sticks' and some additional luggage.
Very easy with 'sports seats'. tight squeeze with buckets, but still fairly easy with carry bags (and mines a large carry bag)
This was my rationale for buying a GT2!!!
I'm afraid it definitely won't be a GT2 or GT3 - way out of my price range If you can, and this may sound strange but buy a GT2 or a GT3 without the rear rollbars...the perfect golfers porsche!!

Also, my main reason for going from Boxster to 911 is to get the back seats for the kids! Obviously, the extra performance is a nice bonus
