Hi,

I have a relatively small collection of cars, mainly naturally aspirated limited editions... 458 Specialie, 911 S/T, etc

I'm looking to add a new car now, and considering buying a limited or somewhat rare Lamborghini. I want to drive the car 2-3 times a week (I live in a hot climate), so I would prefer to get something that is reliable.

I've narrowed it down so far to:

STO Pros (for me)
- The STO is an easier choice as it is easier to daily (or at least drive 3-4 days a week)
- I’ve had a Huracan EVO 640-4 before and really enjoyed that v10 engine.

STO Cons (for me)
- I’m not really a wing guy
- In 4 weeks time will I wish I went for an SVJ or SV?

SV / SVJ Pros
- Limited car (relatively safe buy)
- I’ve never owned a V12
- Very little cars sound as good as an SV or SVJ

SV / SVJ Cons
- Very big
- Not something I will realistically daily and i’m sure I will likely drive an SUV more
- How reliable would an SV be?

The SV and SVJ is considerably more money, but on reflection it might be a better place to put money, as surely these can only continue to go in one direction?

What are your opinions on the SV and SVJ market… where are these likely to end up. Is the SV more desirable, or is the SVJ the one to have?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Thank you both.

@Ferruccio - have you driven an SVJ... interested to hear how it feels against the SV

I haven't driven either of them yet, but plan to this week.

Thank you for all of the replies, much appreciated.

I went for an STO in Grigio Acheso.

I think the STO fits in well with my other cars and hope to add an SVJ in the next 12 months too.

The car is just back from a full inspection from Lamborghini and will be picking it up in a few days so will post some photos.

Thank you for all of the valuable input.

Picked up the STO today (after PPF).

The colour is Grigio Acheso (a matt paint). This was the launch colour on the Ultimae.

A few photos below... and also a few photos of some of my other cars (Dubai and Ireland).

Lamborghini Huracan STO

Ferrari 458 Speciale

Porsche 911 S/T

Ferrari 296 GTB (Abu Dhabi Silver... the only AD Silver in the UAE)

2016 Defender Heritage Edition (1 of 400)... starting to daily this a lot, albeit not great driving a tractor in Dubai traffic
