TVR Sagaris

Only minor changes as production ready model revealed

First impressions would indicate that there are no significant changes to the Sagaris on show today. The rear of the car has undergone some minor revisions with the rear 'saggy arse' removed and the car now boasts a tighter, leaner rear. The use of large wheels filling the arches gives the car real presence and the brightly coloured car on TVR's stand looks particularly stunning.

Two cars are at the show, a grey model featured on the Auto Trader stand and a more brightly coloured model on TVR's own stand.

Wow, looks stunning in red with the 19 inch wheels.

Any confirmation on any changes?

I prefer it in grey. Very sinister.

The red one looks like the rear has been tidied up a little... the diffuser doesn't seem to have such an overhang...

Side exit exhausts.

Finally the driver and passenger get to hear what all the fuss is about...

Those wheels really do set the car off nicely!

Any changes to the interior as was promised?

I was wondering what the Sagaris would look like in an Orange/Red colour - now I know FANBLOODYTASTIC!!!!

Also looks very mean in the grey.

Anyone got a spare £50K I can borrow ?

They do indeed! Are these the 19" rims from the Typhon? I was told these would be fitted when I saw the car at MPH03, but didn't believe they'd be able to squeeze them into the arches!

Have you seen one in the flesh?

I don't think they're particularly photogenic, and must admit that I didn't like it when I first saw pics of it, however in the flesh it's a whole different car!

yeah, went to racing green to see both the saggyarse and the typhon and was significantly unimpressed with both of them. The Tuscan grew on me having said that and I didnt initially like that and thought TVR were losing the plot. But the saggyarse just isnt right, cant put my finger on precisely why.

Also, although I didnt play around too much with the seating position of the saggyarse, I would be interested to see Peter Wheeler sat in one with a helmet on (being a car designed as a track toy) without wedging his head against the roof. At 6' 3" I couldnt fit without a helmet!

Lucky you if you don't want one. Pity the rest of us who think it's the coolest car they've ever seen and have ordered one in a moment of madness. Still I think £50k is going to look a bargain when it's sitting outside my house.

Personally I preferred the OTT back end of the prototype. Smoothing things out is all a bit of an unsagaris thing to do.

I'm now losing sleep over the colour? I just don't know what to do!!!!

Thanks pistonheads for the photos! Brilliant job and much appreciated for those of us with orders!
