I keep hearing the chain in their advert for the F1 this year and it's getting me all excited...and then disappointed I've got to wait another 2 weeks frown

Out of interest, anyone know the BBC/Sky split and which races are on which services?

They are doing quite a good deal online at the moment.

I'm just watching the SD F1 channel on Sky now.

It looks like it's going to be about £30 a month on their website. Free Sky + HD box (not the 1TB version though) which I guess isn't too bad...£360 for the year. scratchchin

Will there be many pubs open at 7.00 in the morning?

Didnt some cinema chains used to broadcast the races?!?! Always fancied it on the big screen and now in HD with 5.1 I'd pay to watch a few races in gold glass at Vue Star City.

Probably not but I won't be awake at that time anyway, the flyaway races being delayed work out quite well really!

I'd be quite happy to watch a GP in HD on a cinema screen. That would also mean I would only be paying to view a GP at a time so I could pick and chose my races and I would be geting an experience I can't get in the same way at home.

I'm surprised it's not been offered. Maybe Sky aren't making their races avaiable.

I believe it's "extended highlights". God only knows what that actually means - we'll find out soon I guess.

I'd be tempted by a cinema viewing also - I doubt there'd be the popularity to actually do that though.

First race starts at 6am on the day - I don't really wanna go to the Cinema/Pub/Other Venue. I want to come and sit in my sitting room with a cup of tea and catch the season opener.

To be honest, I guess I really don't see any way other than buying fking sky grrrrrrrrr
