Mk4 golf abs light

Hi, my abs light has came on?? It's a mk4 golf gt tdi 130. Anything I should check and how do I find out which sensor it is?

You need to find someone with vagcom / VCDS and read the fault code to see what is causing the ABS light to come on.

This - will tell you which corner it is. Or if you are feeling wealthy just change all 4 biggrin

Vag com it if you can as it will give you relevant fault codes...but first off id disconnect the battery and take out all the fuses by the battery and see if there is any corrosion etc in there and clean up...this alone has sorted a couple of abs dash light issues out. Let us know how you get on.

Or if more wealthier the ECU also.. and anything else on the ABS system it might be, sensors are normally the first port of call as theyre the easiest and cheap fix.
