Am i being slightly thick?

If i put 10k on eng to win tomorrow i win 27k.

If i put 10k on italy i win 28k. Initial outlay 20k minimum return 7k. Now obviously i need 20k float but it literally seems that easy as they cannot draw.

Yeah if they draw after 90 minutes you're in the st

You could do both to qualify but you'll find the odds much worse and probably won't make anything?

You bet on the result after 90 minutes unless you bet on a team to qualify

If you place that bet then you are betting £20k on it not being a draw at the end of normal time.

If you think you've got a nice little betting thing worked out where you can't lose, just think to yourself "why isn't everybody doing this?"

It's almost always because it won't work biggrin

The old half time bet through up another interesting one yesterday. France were 1-0 on and Raymondo was offering 7/1 for them to qualify.

Sorry, can't remember the betting company that advertises every half time - I just watch for the odds hehe

Just lay the draw before kick off and when someone scores back the draw. Depending on odds available work out an exit strategy and if it remains 0-0 at this point just bail.....

Betfair's Draw No Bet market: 2.00 and 1.99. You'll lose 5% on commission, guaranteed. Just give me £500 and we'll call it quits.

Betfair's To Qualify market: 1.98 and 2.00. You'll lose 5% on commission, guaranteed. Just give me £500 and we'll call it quits.

biggrin

You need to implement the Emotional Hedge.
1) Define how much you equate England going through in monetary terms. If you don't care, then it's zero. If it would make your day, then maybe £100.
2) Lay England with the above as liability.

Result 1: England qualify. You lose £100. Yay!
Result 2: Italy qualify. You win £100. Yay!
