Hi just decided 2 day to do the le mans classic. Never been before.. First off all any advice at all would be very welcome. One thing we would like to know about is the track laps on Saturday morning. What sort of cars are eligible. And what sort of entrance tickets are required and where from. We wouldn't like to miss anything I haven't had chance to read up yet so thought I would post first.
apologies if some of this is already on here. Links much appreciated

Hi Mate,

They are all sold out for parade/track laps. Sold months ago. Best chance is to keep an eye on people that can't go. But you need to have a car thats in the category that is allowed to parade as well :/

Pistonheads meet on Friday at Bounty is worth going to smile

One tip would be to look at the "who's on what crossing" thread and see if you can get on one with a few PH cars. You'll be welcomed as part of the convoy and may make a few mates who'll look after you during the event thumbup

For info go to the Le Mans Classic website.

As others have said, track laps are sold out and you need to be part of a club registered to get on them.

You're taking a Z06 on the parade laps? Nice car but, I thought it was for classics only?

Hey up Sherlock... Not going in Z06. Don't know how track laps work and what cars qualify . Somebody did say you could do them in a Z06 or indeed any Ferrari?

The list of allowed makes and models I'm looking at says...
"Chevrolet - Corvette"
"Ferrari - all models"
