Hi all.

Where can I get headers from at a reasonable price for my Ro LS2?

I think from what I've read we like long headers don't we?

I'm going for power and torque but not sure of the pros/cons?

I know the Fish and AAS do them, but haven't a clue where else?

I can fit myself if I need to.

Been pondering the same for my ls3 but can't afford new ones for over £1k. Was hoping to get used ones and half the cost...

Thats more than a lot. AAS were willing to do headers for £900 (no cats - just my decats altered) but there is a 2month wait and 3day turnaround with me being in London would not work overly well...

What about these xforce ones I here of?
To me, metal is metal. If they are equal length, start at the head and meet the cats, and the same grade material, I don't see the point of paying over the odds for one with a 'W' badge on it..???

By the time they are imported they'd be equally as expensive, no?

If you want long headers, they won't 'meet the cats' as they go through the position of the standard cats.

I bought Pacemaker headers and imported those and a system. Even after VAT and a bit of duty it was financially beneficial. Finding an Aussie outfit to send overseas is the only real barrier, but there are a few. Aussie eBay is worth a look too.

Have a look at the sponsors on ls1.com.au there's dozens to choose from.
Tri-Y give the best power and torque despite the fashion for LT 4-into-1

Check out burnstainless.com. #1 in headers.

LT's are for top end power. Tri Y's for low and mid range.

Magic, I would be getting my decats modfied anyway so that would not
Be a problem.

Blownls1e36, could I have ravings details in PM as well pls? I am assuming he might get them headers for vxr8 as well.

Ps. Are you the guy I met about a month or two ago at Mark's at LSV8Power? I was the chap with the black vxr8, tints (and orange calipers - yuk!)

Sounds a good idea - if someone has the time.
Im up for a group buy, but do not have the time to head up the group buy.
Who wants to commit to doing it?
