I really, really like this. Not sure if I have rose-tinted glasses on, but for £1000 this could be the ultimate city runaround...no mods, no add-ons just as Vauxhall intended.

Who needs an ADAM when you can zoom around in this? You've (probably not) been Novataken.

Why am I thinking more about a tidy shell to put a redtop on ITB's in?

I had the 1.0l version in that colour. A whole 45 horses. Was bullet proof though and ideal student transport...

Needs a couple of gallons of waxoyl if you're going to use it as a daily. Other wise it'll get ruined in no time at all, which would be a shame really.

Its not a great car (never was), but still nice to see in such a condition.

Exactly this! There can't be many of these left at all, let alone one as nice as that. No modifications for this one please smile

You can steal these without putting down your bottle of WKD. Very convenient.

I wonder how much it would be to insure as a first car. Don't worry I wouldn't modify it.

I'm reducing the price on my Nova because I'm sick of day dreamers
I'd suggest the only dreamer is the seller of that 25 year old undesirable piece of old tat.

how can he advertise it as 1 owner? he's not down on the log book?
Not sure he is, the words are quite carefully chosen:

seller said:
I bought it from an elderly couple who've owned it from brand new. The V5 had no previous owners on it when I went to see the car!
and
1 Previous Owner
It's clear to me that when he bought it from the previous owner, they were the only owner through the life of the car. He is now the second owner (1 previous to him). Any buyer would be the third. Poor English but not deceptive.

Here's a predicament.

Would you rather see an old car scrapped, or modified and kept on the road?

Why would it need to be scrapped?

Even though it's in near mint condition, it still seems like strong money. A little digging and you'll no doubt find a standard 1.3 or 1.4 SR for similar folding.
