I'll be there but as we're coming from Aberdeen we're flying so the Astons will be staying home.

It would certainly be good to meet up.

I'll be there all three days, combination of Alfa and Marcos unless it's raining in which case I may take the Aston...

Best event in the world, no question!

I'll be there for all 3 days, hopefully in the DB MkIII. What Astons will you be in?

I will look out for you group in the car park and say hello if I see you. I know you probably will but make a small effort to dress in style, for chaps it's easy, chinos, brogues, jacket and trilby or flat cap. smile

Friday is quietest, Saturday is busiest, Sunday the events begin to wind down. If you can only do one day, do Saturday and get there at 8am - you will want the whole day there, there is so much to see and do before you have eve watched the best racing you'll ever see! Roving Grandstand tickets are a must and provide welcome shelter if it's rainy.

The queues are horrendous to get in and out though, but the same with any event of that size frown

It gets bigger every year, but unlike the Festival of Speed, it's getting better!

Agree with yeti, its a zoo. I try to get there at 7am for opening time, usually on Sunday. I always like to watch these billionaires and hired drivers throw their priceless GTOs, Zagatos and Shelby Cobras into the Chicane during the TT race, especially after you've been chatting with the mechanics just before they start.. a great atmosphere if the weather is good. If you plan on visiting regularly I recommend you join the Goodwood Road Racing Club (GRRC) for access to some quieter hospitality areas and members-only enclosures with a good view of the action..

Not that easy though is it, there is (or used to be) a waiting list of a couple of years! I think the membership is 5000 strong so one out, one in. It's worth it I'd you live close by and can use the Kennels - I spent New Year there!
