PistonHeads Sunday Service: 02/09/12

Ready for another PHSS? Why not join us at Aston Martin HQ?

OK, we admit that it is rather unusual to offer two consecutive Sunday Service meets, but when you are offered the chance to visit the Aston Martin HQ at Gaydon it’s an offer you can’t refuse. As a result, on Sunday September 2 we will take the Sunday Service roadshow to Aston Martin in Warwickshire for a rather exclusive meet open to just 300 cars. As such an early sign-up is essential.

The AM team has pulled out all the stops for this meet and have laid on a whole host of things for PHers to enjoy including:

  • Zagato, Vanquish and One-77
  • The entire Aston Martin range including Rapide and V12 Vantage
  • Access to the VIP area within Aston Martin HQ
  • Aston Martin merchandise available
  • Historic cars including James Bond DBS, the N24 Vantage and four-door Lagonda
  • Scalextric racing
  • Access to the viewing platform looking over the production facility

As per usual we will be offering a rather pleasant breakfast in the large Aston Martin restaurant and we may have a few surprise vehicles arriving too.

The 300 available spaces will be offered on a first come, first served basis and to reserve your spot all you need to do is sign up on the event calendar here. If your space has a number between 1-300 alongside it you’re in, if not you will be on the reserve list and will automatically move up should people drop out in the lead up to the event.

The Aston Martin Headquarters is amongst a live manufacturing environment and as such some access is prohibited. We’ll issue direction instructions to all on the list later this week, but please appreciate how special this access is.

Please respect the wishes of our hosts and the instructions given by marshals and Aston Martin staff on the day, and thanks to Aston Martin for having us and to you for making these meets so successful.

As bikes take up less space, can I take two bikes?

Is it bad form to bring a few friends in car, is it just car numbers that are limited or people aswell?

You are signing up for a car space, so who/ what you carry inside is up to you smile

As it stands bikes are OK to attend without sign up. However, if the number of bikes arriving becomes higher than the one or two we see now, that may have to change.

For now, you are fine to just turn up.

Splendid. I'll knock myself off the list to make room for a real person then.

Hi guys,

I've been a PistonHeads regular for a while but this'll be the first Sunday Service I attend.

Can someone tell me the format for these are? What time do I need to be there, where do we meet etc? I'm not able to find any details out about it other than the date and description.

Thanks,
Richard.
