It's back up for sale again http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/10012286.htm

It looks like someone thinks they can turn a quick profit.

To be fair. The guy did stick his hands in his pocket to make the purchase at auction. We all know the car is worth more than he paid for it. Good luck to him.

"THIS CAR HAS WON NUMEROUS SHOWS FOR QUALITY"

Did it?

In fairness to Wayne/Pete, whilst it cost a bucketload to build (and then re-build), it's not enjoyed the smoothest development along the way?

Still, given the spec. it's probably a fair price, but the auction price better represents what people are willing to pay in the current market.

Value / worth is subjecive and in the hands of the buyer, no one came up with a better offer vis a vis its value on the day was £39750 which is about right for that particular car in todays market IMO.

but did that price include buyers premium ,taxes etc ?
If not then its not really an accurate "price paid" to be quoting.

Iv not seen this car in the flesh but the asking price looks realistic,if the buyer purchased it at a good price at auction and turns a small profit then fair play to him,he had the balls to buy it in the first place! thumbup

Well mate. I chose the the wrong medium for sale and he was buying at the right one!!! Good luck to him. I wish he'd keep it coz he is a bit of a racer. But I guess a business man too.

BTW.....I know off topic. But, I swum the Channel yesterday.......13hrs 24mins. Without doubt the worst thing I've ever experienced. But done now.....smile

Thought you lot might like to know!!!
