Anyone got any recommendations as to where I can get Pirelli P-Zero's in 295/30/R19 changed for an LP550?

Been to Lambo Manchester and they wanted a silly figure that you'd have to be an idiot to pay - £1100 for 2 tires. These tires are smaller than the ones on my old Porsche (which had 305 section P-Zero's), and those were only £340 per tire fitted!

Anyways, asked Ferrari in Wilmslow (where I bought the car from) and they've no tires in the network, any other good recommendations as to where to go?

This might help. Didn't show out of stock when I added 2 to a basket just now, but don't know if this means they are definitely available. You might even find Kwik Fit could source them?

I don't know about manchester, but having a look on stapletons website trade prices for the Pirelli, even the corsa tires range from £250 - £350
Not sure on the retail price.

I got some PZero Corsa Asimmetrico 2 rear tyres last week from http://www.protyre.co.uk after phoning around everywhere. No one seemed to have corsa's in stock, not even Pirelli. They cost £380 each.

Are you 100% sure that Lamborghini Manchester were quoting for 2 rears and not the full set? I changed both rear tyres with Lamborghini Reading in May and including the MOT it cost £702.

And they had to fly them in from Italy as there was no stock - took about a week.

Event Tyres are imo the best. They do most of the City/Utd players' cars.

Yep, guy wouldn't budge either. Never bought anything from them before so maybe that's why.

Weird, Birmingham charged just under £1200 for a full set when i had mine done.

Just be careful to get the correct variation of the size specific for the G.

None here, thought about trying Michelin Supersports ?

There seems to be a big shortage of Pirelli tyres - not much available for the Strad either.

Just called Birmingham to see if they have any in. The other place didn't have any, and Manchester came down to £1050 after a call yesterday for 2 tyres but that's it. They said basically "no one else has them, and we have to buy from Lambo" and that's why they were charging the rip off rate.

They'll have those tyres a long time because I can't see anyone buying them - I'd prefer to wait a month than get ripped off with a stupid rate like that, so will call around other places and maybe get the car picked up by birmingham to get them changed instead.

If nobody else has them, then they'll sell them at that price. its expensive but its not that bad. I'd pay it if I couldn't drive my car otherwise.... I'd never buy another car from them though.

Have you tried Merit Tyres. They got me 2 Pirellis for the 560-4 when nobody else had them in last year. Plus they fitted them really well with no wheel damage etc and at good price.

Gents, I have a full set of pukka Pirelli Corsas with the Lambo 'L' marking still with stickers on them. Bought from Lambo Edinburgh for my 570-4 SL, invoice available etc. Happy to discuss by pm, not looking to make any profit but would want to cover my costs...

Are the tyres different between a 550 and a 560?

Seems expensive...
