Hi all, just thought I would let you know that I had my 3 year service done by Adrian at Bamford Rose recently and I have nothing but praise for their help, efficiency, knowledge and friendliness, I had a great time there smilesmile

During the service they noticed a number of things that would require fixing under the warranty namely, all 4 wheels have corrosion blisters on the inside of the rims, the oil cooler was leaking, corrosion to the door mirror supports, failed petrol flap release mechanism and a power steering issue. The car is with my local AM dealer to have all of this resolved so I will let you know how it all works out.

I also met Marcel who was there having his DB9 fettled, great looking car, and learnt a lot more about most of you fellow posters from him. He also told me about the famous BR exhaust switch, guess what is in my car now, thanks Adrian.

Hi Keith.. Welcome back! Climb went well?

It was great meeting and chatting with another familiar name on PH while having my car fettled.

If you get your car back and have nothing to do on the 20th October, some of us will be attending a Charity Open Day at Trinity Engineering in Cobham. You'll get to put more names to faces while taking in some really beautiful restorations at Tim's.. There is a post on here somewhere. I'll send it across when I find it.

Sorry Francis forgot about you...

Francis was kind enough to come over to BR and fix/polish out some swirls and scuffs left by my local MOT center. As usual, it was a great job and door is now perfect again. Thanks!

To avoid a reoccurrence of Gazebogate, Paddy was allowed to work on the car in the workshop smile

Hi Francis, sorry I missed you out, not intentional just brain fade due to high altitude excesses.

Marcel, climb was brilliant, watching the sun come up at 5:30 from the Kilimanjaro volcanic rim is something that will remain with me forever, a truly great experience. I am at Brands Hatch with my son on 20th, last round of the Clio Cup and BTCC so will miss out. I am at Denbies vineyard on 28th October though if you are going.

Yeti, didn't see your car but heard lots about it, I think it was in the new workshop.

As you are local Keith, you should be making a Soho D&D meet biggrin. Certainly a run out sometime also.

Hope so, mine was parked downstairs when I left for work this morning smile

The cockneywagen is easily recongniseable; it has pearly seats, the stereo only plays Chas & Dave and the satnav has Dick Van Dyke's voice on it...

"Gor blimey Mairey Poppins, turn left 'ere, 'av a banana..."

It is the sawn off shotgun and loot behind the seats, me old mucker. Anyway the pearly seats have nice fluffy nylon seat covers protecting them, so you would not have noticed.....

Only messing Keith. If I knew johns car was there, I would've give and bought another gazebo and given his car that little extra shade..........

I specifically told them that you were to go nowhere near it biggrin The last person that touched it is holding up the A2, M25 junction in a concrete suit wink

And that was probably some poor kid that saw the state of your cr and came over to give it a wash, letting you off the standard £5 fee.

I think I'm in on the 22nd. What they learn from yours, they will improve on mine biggrinbiggrin ( like making sure that rogue V12V Owners dont turn-up off-spec and drop chewing gum into your new cats biggrin )

Theres going to be some awfully quick Astons out there soon!
