Like the bumgardner one a lot but would need it de-patched so i didnt look like a fanboy.

Not too unreasonably priced either.

I agree it is very reasonably priced (£120 in current ex-rates?) But will it be available before the winter is out I wonder?!

Should add that the Alpha one is 190 sheets so doesn't seem bad value at all for a winter parka, and is marketed as being a slimmer fit (which I like) and I am drawn to the furry collar, sad perhaps, but tickles my fancy.

I really like that Baumgartner one and would buy one for myself if he had a beer belly and not so much fekkin hair on his head.

LOL @ some of your comments biggrin

I'm not after replicating the great man, I get scared going up ladders these days (ex aerial and satellite dish engineer hehe). On the subject of the jacket, I'm just after a green bomber style for winter and thought the one Felix had on looked the tits. I dare say 'this article is currently not available' in my size may stay that way for a good while frown

At the minute it's a toss up between hanging out for that one or having a look at this one by Alpha Industries, surely some of you more well to do ('I own my own aeroplane') sorts will have had experience of this brand? What do you think of this? Negates the issue of badges all over the place...

Opinions?
I've got one of these in blue, had it for years, bought it from Silvertons, whenever I go to Le Mans, 24hr @ Silverstone or any camping trip it always comes with me. Its lovely and warmsmile
During the summer months I hang it up in the loft then bring it back out in winter, which reminds me, must get it out when I get homesmile

Be careful when Googling for snorkel parkas. There seems to be some sort of fetish thing involving snorkel parkas and gentlemen who like gentlemen.

hehe It's a great looking jacket but I'd rather it didn't have any emblems unless I was part of the team.
Then get the original it is a ripoff of - the Alpha N-3B as used by the USAF on cold climate postings

I think Grand Prix Legends have stopped selling them now but there are plenty of other uk retailers that sell them

Was there really any need for that?

No, there was no need at all.

I'm trying to work out if they're worse than those cretinous Subaru jackets that are typically worn by fashion victims, or Subaru drivers, with small cocks/fat arses.

Now if you wore them as an ironic statement then fine. You'll have to tell everyone though.

I'd rather wear a donky jacket with "NCB" on the bright orange bit at the back. That's cool. cool
