Here is something to get you started. Sum total of my knowledge I am afraid.

I have a Lomax 223. The kits are no longer available and spare Lomax parts are difficult to come across too. IIRC the last kit was delivered to the customer in 2004/5 and the current owner of the name/molds hasn't made any parts for several years, but will not pass on or sell them. There is a seller in France i believe who is selling 4 wheel Le Patron kits. These are very similar to the Lomax 224, but having inspected the kits closely, the quality of the fibre-glass really is second to none. A few subtle mods are needed to the bodywork however. The top of the bonnet is very flat, the Lomax has fake Louvre's on it, which was a very clever feature to break up a what is otherwise vast expanse of flat GRP. The Lomax bonnet also tapers down slightly and appears less upright.

Although currently not for sale on ebay, it might be worth contacting him to see if he has any bodies/parts.
Pembletons are still available and there is quite a good club Behind it all. Phil, who builds and makes the kits, doesn't "do" the internet, so you will need to get hold of him through other means. He can also provide modded gearbox houses suitable for BMW conversion and can also supply a Guzzi conversion kit too. These vary massively as they are a much more individual build and people tend to fiddle around with panel configuration and sometimes make small adjustments to the chassis too.

Then there is the Burton Kit car, designed and made in Holland. These are lovely looking classic styled sports tourers. A bit more to them than the open Lomax/lepatron and Pembletons. They will be a fair bit heavier though so probably don't feel as sporty. They are also relatively expensive.

This one is fantastic, was at Stoneleigh this year. The engine bay is clean as anything, i wish mine was as clean.
BRA CV3:
In theory, these work, but this photo does the car wonders. The reality is that the look pretty silly and out of proportion. The bonnet too flat and way too high.

(i'm 6ft 5 and this car is a lot longer than the standard. it also has a dropped floor where the pedals are. The front swing arms are lengthened too, meaning that the drive shafts are angled forwards.)

Hi I may have a lomax 223 1978 T reg for sale soon.
I have not used it for 2 to 3 years.
I put a replacement galvanised chassis on it around 2011-12. And used it for approx a year after its down as a lomax on documents
I was given a motorcycle and the cars been stood since occasionally moved up and down the the garden.
I don't have time to work on it as I have nowhere to do so. It's kept outside so really needs a new home.
I have 2 other toys (road legal buggy /motorcycle to play with nowadays)

I frequently hear of cars that are no longer used and languish unloved for years and its a bit sad, but I understand everyone has different circumstances.
I sold my lomax about 2 and a half years ago and it went off to France. I now own a pembleton and im building another.
