Does anyone have any experience in this area?
The obvious provider would be Addspeed here in Horsham but I've had mixed reports.
Someone else mentioned Parr in Crawley.

How important is it to use a "specialist" for routine servicing? I do have a very trusty local garage that look after our other cars brilliantly.....
Thanks in advance.

Paragon, Five Ashes, South of Tunbridge Wells.

Been taking my 997 there since it turned two, even since moving to Norfolk.

Service it yourself??
Buy OEM parts take your time and then you know it's been done right. I have had 3 911's and a boxster, serviced the lot. One of the 911's was 3.2 and did the valves and tappets service every year, no problem. The resale value of the cars was 100% not affected, the boxster went for spot on market value and two of the 911's went up in value during ownership and the owners loved the fact that I loved the cars enough to get involved. Your choice ultimately, had two Ferrari's since(sorry, for, that) and did,the cambelt on one, they're just cars, if you can service a fiesta you can do a porsche! IMHO

Ninexcellence are fantastic. Just north of gatwick it's not far from Horsham, they will drive you to the station or you can hang about.

Great guys, great prices and as honest as the day is long.

Thanks guys.
Nice idea but not sure about the DIY option- I struggle to check the oil!
Sounds like Nine Excellence might be the best option as they're a bit closer than Paragon.
Anyone tried Addspeed or Parr though?

I use Parr, do all the servicing and other work on my 997.2 gt3 rs and look after my cup car, they are excellent, thorough and knowledgable. Roger is the service manager.

Nine Excellence are on another level. OK, the coffee is rubbish and the surroundings not as good, but Ken, James and Adam are bloody superb.
Exactly my view - I think they raise the bar above other indy's I've used.

I didn't know they provided coffee though!

Try Mike at Carerra Sports in Haywards Heath or Chris at Diablo engineering (pm me if you want his contact details, he is really good), i hear good things about Precision Porsche too. Parrs are far from cheap but very good, Paragon are similar in price but again very good, both may terrify you by picking holes in every detail of your car though! (That said Roger at Parrs is a bloody good guy!)

What model do you have? Keith at Addspeed knows his stuff having been In the business for a long time. Used to look after a couple of 944 s and a 911 E for me and a mate and was always happy to work to a budget.
