Nissan Micra essenza

Hi all,

The Mrs bought a Micra essenza a couple of Weeks ago and somehow has disabled the keyless entry and keyless start. This was working fine before hand but now you need to unlock the car by clicking the key, and then insert the key into the ignition for it to start up.

Does anyone have any knowledge of how to enable this function?

Are you sure its not working?

Are you pressing the little black button on the door handle to open it?

Are you pressing the brake pedal(might be clutch as well) when trying to start it?

Thanks a lot mate. That's it sorted. His knows what's she's been doing to start it, but pressing the brake and clutch without the key in works fine!

Great, it's not a particularly intuitive system if you dont know how to use it.
