Good to see the Government dipping their arms further into the Cash Machine motorist

A basic 1.2 corsa can be in band C so has nothing to do with faster cars.

Sorry officer, I am unemployed at the moment but not on benefits. I am still paying tax so my income is therefore negative, does that mean you pay me?

Indeed - but it begs the question of power-war cars and usability on roads in Blighty.

Keep below 100 in a 70 and you'll be unaffected.

I was cruising along at 3,500 rpm and got pulled over. Prosecuted for 93 mph.

They should make UK market cars slower than for Italian and German markets

I own a 18 year old 911, I only have to think about it wrong and it'll cost me a week's wages. The other day, and I promise this is true, my phone popped up a message asking if I was interested in the travel time to my local independent, such is the frequency of my visits. If I ever escape out of there having spent only a week's wages I'd consider myself very lucky.

People these days don't know they're born; my car's sat out on the drive now, probably costing me two week's wages!

I own a 19 year old 911 which is bullet proof and works fine. The bad news is I get stopped by the Police all the time.

It surprises me that there isn't some sort of leeway built into these fines.
Understanding was that not all the speed cameras were 100% accurate anyway. There should be a 5-10% headroom over the speed limit IMO.

This change won't affect anyone at 10% over a limit.
