Lots of topics online about childs seats in back of FFs and 612s etc, but all of these discussed and pictured are front facing childs seats or booster seats. As it has been recently children sit in a ***rear facing*** seat until they're 4/5 years old for highest possible safety, would a decent sized rear facing childs seat for a toddler fit in the back (considering these do take up more room)?

Has anyone actually fit a rear facing seat in the back? If fitted on the passenger side, did you need to put the passenger seat fully forward and was it still comfortable for that passenger?

I've not tried fitting extended rear facing seats in a Ferrari but had no luck with 996/7/991 generations of 911 with our BeSafe (up to 18KG) and Britax (up to 25KG) rear facing seats.

The issue wasn't just the lack of space it was manoeuvring the children into the seats without the benefits of rear doors plus the need to find attachment points in the front of the car for extra tethers when fitting the 25KG seat. We ended up biting the bullet and getting a Cayenne and even with this the front passenger seat needs to be pushed quite far forward to fit the larger seat.

Have you considered a Bentley Continental? They are (for a "sports" car) fairly spacious in the back and all come with Isofix as standard.

We have a Granturismo and it's the only Supercar type vehicle that I am aware of that has sufficient room in the back for child seats and ISOFIX on all passenger seats.

I am not sure if the law has changed but I put my 2 year old in a front facing seat so that I could take him in the FF.

Best thing would be to take your rear facing seat to a dealer who has an FF for sale to try it. It's well worth their time to let you check it fits!
