Advice and views please...

I'm a former TVR owner (Chimera then Tamora) who had a break from toys when family arrived (Audi Q5) and now looking for a new toy. Q5 stays and is family-wagon but have space in the garage that needs filling with something for the weekend.

Considering either a Morgan or a (slightly) more practical Lotus Elise. Leisure-only miles which are likely to be relatively local in the spring/summer with the annual pilgrimage to Le Mans in June.

Advice on the Elise is welcomed.

Ha! That was my thought. Similar ex-TVR background so happy to give input but perhaps be more specific?

Ok, you're right. Pretty open.

So, preference is for an Elise as it would seem something that is more reliable (Toyota engine is pretty bulletproof?) and less upkeep.

What should I be looking out for? What are the different models? 111R, Touring, S etc. How do they stack up against each other and what's the one to get.
