Porsche 911 GT3 (991.2): PH Video

You've read about how good a GT3 is at Anglesey, so now's the chance to see (and hear) it!

That the latest Porsche 911 GT3 is fantastic to drive on track should come as no surprise. After all, this is - according to its makers - the best ever version of the most circuit focused 911 variant. If it didn't perform well around a lap, something would be rather amiss.

Rather like Usain Bolt in a sprint race though, watching a GT3 track vid still makes for rather good viewing despite the unerring predictability of what you're going to witness. So here we have the new car at Anglesey - one of the most picturesque circuits around - with Editor Dan to see just what's what with the new GT3.

You want noise? We've got noise, plenty of it. You want oversteer? There's some of that, too. You want the full geek-out walkaround? That's covered, fear not. In fact the only thing missing from this GT3 vid is some fancy footwork across three pedals. Guess there will have to be another video when the manual is available...

Well if that's what you already thought of the 911 and PH's coverage of it why would you even bother to be here?

On the other hand you could have avoided making a point just for the sake of making a point and enjoyed a PH video of a newly released car being driven how it was designed to be driven.

Dan seemed to lose track of where the camera was during that review.

That could be the next National Lottery Game !

Let's take and uneducated guess - minimum £60,000 over cost with extras ?

Ouch. The Porsche UK website lets you spec one but says there's limited availability. The US site lets you spec one but makes no mention of availability. Is it just the UK that's sold out I wonder?
