Classic & Sports Car show 2018 refresh

A new location, PH involvement and planes too - next year's C&SC show sounds like a cracker!

Having almost burst from the seams of Ally Pally last year, the Classic and Sports Car Show has announced a change of venue - and a tweak to the approach which previously drew some £30m-worth of historic vehicles to north London.

Move to Bicester means more of this!
Move to Bicester means more of this!
From next June the show will become a collaborative effort; staring not only a world-class lineup of classic cars, but also an array of vintage aircraft and military vehicles courtesy of the Flywheel Festival.

Best of all, the event has been liberated from the hallowed halls of the people's palace and moved up the M40 to the historic Bicester Heritage site. This is good news for two reasons: firstly, because it's one of the nation's most complete WW2 air stations, and is therefore intriguing to walk around even when nothing is going on - and secondly, it still owns an active runway, which means you can expect to see all manner of hugely expensive cars and planes in glorious, cacophonous motion.

If that weren't fabulous enough, there's a third (possibly slightly less prominent) reason, too: the event will now be additionally partnered by PistonHeads, which means we'll all stand a good chance of running into each other (probably while peering at the sky).

The brand-new event is due to launch in 2018. For more information visit the website.

Ally Pally was a good setting for those Classic cars but a bugger to get to. So this sounds like a good move.
