Fittipaldi's comeback car: Time for Coffee

The Adrian Newey-designed March 83G takes centre stage in Miami

We're big fans of Petrolicious' videos here at PH, but if there's one complaint people often seem to have, it's that the screen time of the breathtaking cars they showcase can take too great a hit to make time for their owners.

Well that's certainly not the case here, with this fantastic Adrian Newey-designed March 83G getting plenty of time in the limelight; it's tyres squealing and Chevy V8 screaming as it powers its way around Miami Speedway. Emerson Fittipaldi is on hand to help explain the car's significance, but there's still plenty of time - and some fantastic onboard footage - to help viewers appreciate what a raw, visceral machine it still is.

The combination of car and driver is a special one, as it was in this car at the 1984 Grand Prix of Miami that Fittipaldi came out of retirement, rekindling his love of racing and leading him to extend his career by thirteen seasons. He'd eventually add two Indy 500 wins to his two F1 titles, solidifying his legendary status on both sides of the Atlantic.
