I'm currently stuck on the A56, watching the RAC man leave having failed to fix my S1 Elise.
Now awaiting a truck to come and get it.
I stalled the car at a junction and now it won't start.
I can hear fuel pump work and engine turns over very well but won't start.
Checked inertia switch and all fuses.
I think RAC man said there was no spark.
Any ideas while I await a tow?

Did he check the distributor cap. The centre contact went on mine years ago

Car was running perfectly until I stalled at a junction.

OK, to recap.

I can hear fuel pump priming.
Engine turns over well and RPMs are registered on dash.
Plenty of fuel.
Car won't start

Head to seloc.org. Lots more expertise there than here.
