Crikey! You had no time to react, I can't imagine why the other driver did that. I would think they should be prosecuted for driving without care at the very least.

I can't think of any reason (other than attempted suicide) why the Passat would do that. Absolutely shocking driving, and they had the cheek to indicate!

Another case where a dashcam is invaluable because I bet the Passat driver would otherwise have a different version of events.

Police involved and all blew 0 on the breathlizer.

I have 2 witnesses who said the VW was driving like a looney and that he had already overtaken several cars previously. VW driver had 3 passengers, all adults probably in their 30-40's. What annoyed me most is that none of them apologised (they were not English if that makes any difference).

Pooch is mine too and lucky he is ok. If you listen carefully on impact you can hear him whine.

Wrong place wrong time as I literally had no time to react. He hit me before my brain even processed the car coming out! If I was driving my Cliosport 172 cup I don't think I'd be making this thread!

Christ, i was going to say that cracked window would drive me nuts and is a MOT fail but after looking at the rest of the footage it seems to be the least of your worries now

clearly the driver who crashed into you 100% liable and this is why dash cameras are required
