I have managed to put a couple of relatively minor scratches along the nearside front wing, and halfway along the passenger door on my Tuscan. If you run your finger over them, you can feel a slight ridge, so I guess definitely gone through the lacquer, and possibly into the paint.
I live just off of Jct 4 of the M2 in Kent, does anyone have any recommendations for this type of repair on a TVR, as local as possible to Kent, but potentially happy to travel a little further ?. I have been to see the local "Chips Away" guys, and although they were very helpful, said as the panels have no edges, was to big an area for them to paint. Thanks in advance.

He did, he did plenty of work on that car. I think there is a thread on here somewhere about it.

Not Kent but worth the drive is Windrush Paint Works in Witney.

They are specialists GRP and especially TVR, they painted mine brilliantly.

Look them up on Instagram where they publish photos of much of their work.

TVRs don’t need special treatment paintwork-wise.

It’s the GRP bodywork that you need people who know what they are doing with it.

Thanks to those who've made suggestions -
I'm still struggling to find an option here, I have just been down to KDS, but unfortunately they no longer to paintwork, just detailing. I will give AutoSport Customs a shout, but Windrush Paint Works in Witney maybe a bit too far to go, as getting there is not such a problem, it's getting back home, as I expect they'll need the car for a few days.
If anyone has any other suggestions local to Kent, would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

I'm not too far from you and I've been recommended a couple of places by people on here. There's one at Brands Hatch, on the Blue Chalet industrial estate, I can't remember the name but I did go and see them and they were working on some fairly high-end stuff at the time (Ferrari, Aston, etc), the other is Sam Harris Auto Repair in Folkestone who painted a PHer's Aston a year or so back and he was very pleased with the results.

The one at BH, if you go up there, as you pull into the estate keep right, drive to the end of that piece of road and they are right in front of you. Can see them on Streetview but can't see the name!

It's probably too far for you but Gary Brewster has done a lot of specialist GRP work over the years (in his Stock paintshop near Billericay, Essex).

He comes highly recommended on the Kent & Essex forum. If it isn't too far for you, I think a quick conversation with him about the work he has done would convince you.

Brewsters are excellent, and have just sorted my Vantage after a small altercation with a large lorry. Phil Wood in Westcliff, is also excellent and a TVR specialist.

Good call. Phil does great work and is a good bloke too. Resurrected my Chimaera after my FIL drove into the back of it!
