You star....

My neighbour has a Kia Pride and sure enough the lenses fit the recess nicely.

Just one thing - how did you removed the orange lens from the TVR/Sherpa ones? Mine seem to be bonded on. The Kia reflectors are too deep and protrude from the recess so the it doesn't look like I can use them.

I went and removed my neighbours indicator again ( I'm sure she understands - her "boys" has just collected a Ford Dexta tractor to restore..) and discovered that there a spacer at the rear of the reflector that comes off and now the whole unit is only 15mm deep. Looks very likely that you could use the whole Kia unit if needed.

@dundarach slightly off-topic - but is that a chrome number-plate surround I see?

Not sure if a like them, but the main thing is that there now appears to be a replacement we can use. I've got a spare lens anyway but I'm going to get a pair of these anyway.

I think I have found another possible candidate - all I know is that the orange lens is the right size and the distance between the screw holes is correct. I measured it at a car show yesterday. I haven't taken one off yet to check the reflector size etc...

Not that common a car though, but maybe more in scrapyards than Kia Prides...

I'll try to check before I give a definite.

Just ordered a couple of new KIA lenses - £3.84 + VAT each, hardly worth scouring scrapyards for.

Did you change just the lens? How easy was it to separate the LDV lens from the black reflector bit?

Top man!!!! This is why I love this site. Off to buy shares in Kia now, their spares sales are about to rocket. Just like to add I prefer the Kia ones as well!

I meant that I think that the Jaguar XJS fits - I measured the screw centres and overall size and it looks right.

Obviously, as I said, I have now ordered Kia ones so won't be following this up (unless they don't fit!), but if anybody else wants to give it a try...

You lot are wasted on TVR ownership. Talk about resourceful.

The only thing that would grate with me is the visible gap behind the rubber bumper bit. Bet you can't source a piece of something that covers that.

(gauntlet thrown down)

Does this open the possibility of finding a clear lens ( do BMW E30 clear lenses fit - even the clear Toyota Hilux ones look close?) Or is that a bit too Lax Power?

I've just fitted the Kia lenses to my car.

Not that bad a job to do and they look a lot neater than the cracked originals.
