A good dhansak curry - lentils and curry make for a good pungency the following day. Wash it down with a couple of guinness and I can fart revengefully on the dog for a day or two and amuse myself with the dutch oven; I'm up an hour before the missus is.

Sunday dinner(beef, lamb or pork and veg and gravy). Especially satisfying when at the in-laws! Have a family meal, sit around for an hour or so chatting (whilst the brew takes effect) and then 2hrs drive home with the Mrs sat shotgun. What is good fun is using the switch to block out the passenger's control of their windows! Seal the cabin and let rip! There's nothing worse than gas that smells exactly the same as the meal you've just eaten. The best achievment is when you have to open the window yourself because it's that bad you can't even stand to smell your own!

Roast Pork.. Starts about an hour after eating... then the windfest goes on for a couple of hours more...

Nothing else affects me the same way..

Cabbage.

Its the only thing that without fail will cause MrsR to go and sleep in the spare room after Ive wafted the quilt for the 4th time going "aaahhhhhhhh!"

I've been reliably informed that I get my best farting done during the night while I'm asleep, which is a bit disappointing because it means I miss out on the sense of craftsmanship a rounded, well-timbred fart provides.

Except one night in a Paris hotel, when after two evenings of rich French cuisine I managed to wake myself up with a proper gutrumbling arsequake of a monster, that went on for a good twelve seconds after awakening and was of truly epic, neighbour-disturbing volume.

I swear I must have visibly deflated, such was the amount of air evacuated.

i dont really need foods to help me fart, im rather windy as it is frown

but the mother of all that really does incrase the quantity and pungency is home made sausage meat stuffing... they get to the point where i can no longer take the smell myself frown oh and holding those ones in is nigh on impossible aswell

I've been threatened with the spare room when I've been drinking black & tans and eating dry roasted peanuts.

But apart from that I'm normally a fairly flatulent person but the above adds aroma along with the normal noise.

There was a 'true' story in Private Eye a few years ago about a man who lived in Cairo and subsisted on a diet of cabbage and beans, one hot night he managed to fart himself to death (asphyxiation), the fireman who broke down the door to his room had to be hospitalised, so I'd nominate those two foods.
