Is it a jag? Spitfire? Healey? Lights from TVR?
AC dash?

Looks like bits of airfix mixed up and put together.

An absolutely gorgeous piece of kit, with the V8 from the BMW M5 - WOW!!!!!!! Althought I thought they were 400bhp instead of 325bhp I'd love one. This is what MG should have come up with instead of the abysmal MGF. A British style sportscar, made in Germany.

I think it's a pretty exciting car. I've seen them in the flesh but have yet to experience one on the move.

Check out the sound files/videos on their website. They sound spot on too.

I've seen a few softtop versions of these in Nurburg. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful motorcar.

I've always like the idea of an classic styled (Healey-esque) roadster with modern underpinnings. This thing gets my vote. I'll take one with an M3 straight 6 please

To the Coupe :JoeyTribianiON:How you doin :JoeyTribianiOFF:

Definetly a jaguar grill, and speed 12 light pods on the coupe.

The roadster looks a bit off, though. The headlights dont work and the rear lights, in the photo, look like the front of a Tuscan.

TVR meets Healey 3000!!!

Like it!! Would have me one of those coupes if they drive nice..... Might need a custom interior over that one though......

The 4.4 is actually the V8 from the 540; the M5's 400bhp engine is 5 litres. Mmmmm, that would be nice!

Of course, BMW's odd numbering system at work too.

But I hope Weismann would take the hint and put the M5 lump in it too

Seen this beast in the flesh a few years back, used a Pace car at Donington Park during the Boss races.

Very nice....prefer the roadster though, the back of the coupe doesn't look quite right to me.

Is it just me, or is there a hint of pre-war BMW in the front styling?

I think it looks like a T 350 seriously though, a handsome bit of tackle, very british looking, stylish and purposeful, good luck to em

edited to add, it looks like getting in and out of the coupe could be interesting though

I see you're getting sick of the, "..they've ripped off X.....it looks like a TVR....." rubbish as well.

Why can't people look at car and say yes "I like that because...." rather than trying to play spot the difference with a T350c?

Stunning! I saw an article on the roadster a few years ago, and thought that looked good but the Coupe is great!

Any chance of getting them to come to pistonfest next year Ted?

"This is what Rover should have made instead of the MGF?"

What nonsense!! The MGF sells for about a third of the price! The MG also sells in large numbers unlike this....

I was going to type the MG V8 but noticed the person above my post had one so changed it. Maybe I should have changed it to MG X-Power, the black thingy they had on Top Gear, that every likes but no-one will buy.

So let me get this right, £50-£55k for a 3.0 V6 with moderatly to good acceleration? It's no TVR or Noble is it, at that price I'd expect more not less. Oh and for what it's worth IMO it's a bloody ugly mess of an XK120 roadster with a Cobra Daytona GT roof dropped on it. Ah well each to their own I guess. Rich...

Very nice, and I'm sure it'd look even better if it was in something other than "old English white".

Reminds me a bit of the HMC. That was almost a carbon copy (or should that be GRP?) of the Healey 3000, but with a Rover v8 and decent brakes and suspension. Anyone know if they're still around?

Good idea.

Make sure they have drool protection on the paintwork though - that is one gorgeous car
