Delkevic Exhaust?
Discussion
Hey guys,
So i've stripped the exhaust off the thundercat and found a long hole right around the top of the downpipes, right where the clamps go.
I've looked around for reviews on delkevic exhausts and just can't seem to work out if they are a good choice or just scrap metal?
I'm thinking about getting the delkevic down pipes and 350mm oval stubby can
Has anyone used these pipes and had good/bad experience?
Are all exhaust basically just the same with a different badge stamped on?
thanks!

I fitted a set of Delkavick header to my TDM a while back, seem to be pretty well made and fitted properly, only issue I had was the flanges were thinner than the OEM ones so I had to put some oversize nuts on the mounting studs as spacers. Not had them on long enough to see how well they last though.
I had a Motad Nexus before, the header pipes were pretty good quality but the cans rusted quite badly. Might not be the same for all bikes, for my bike the Motad setup wasn't compatable with any other exhausts either, ie I couldn't fit a different back end on my motad downpipes without a seperate adaptor from Motad which they don't make any more.
I have a set on my Busa, never heard of them before either but i was very impressed with the quality of the welding and the finish, removable baffles are a nice touch as well. Even with teh baffles out they are not offensively loud too..Recommend here.
You could also look at MTC exhauts, UK made and from my experience a great product for the price

I wouldnt use them imho just based on some dyno results I saw with these downpipes... I've got a MOTAD system on the Thundercat and its spot on... off ebay from MOTAD for about £140.So i've stripped the exhaust off the thundercat and found a long hole right around the top of the downpipes, right where the clamps go.
