Am in need of a new heat exchanger for my warmflow 70/90 oil fired boiler, just wondering if any heating engineers out there would know if they are compatible with any other make of boiler.
Reason I ask, the price from warmflow seems a bit steep, my plumber has said that they, ( warmflow ), are known to be expensive.
Thanx.

No. It's warmflow or nothing....

BUT!
A couple of years ago I had a Worcester oil boiler that leaked and the guy who owned it took it to bits and had it welded up. Top job. Still water tight. Can you see where it's leaking from?

Not so much of a leak, although it is leaking, more like being blocked up with lime-scale, I know you can clean things out, but was told that unless you have the correct equipment these things are hard to get clean, seeing as the plates are so close together.

Ah!!!
Sorry, we're at crossed purposes.
A plate heat exchanger from a combination boiler? I assumed you were talking about the main heat exchanger.
In that case, no, I'm not sure what heat exchanger it is. Have you tried Part Center?
