Great day. Epic battle between GT3 Ferarri's of Witt Gamski (who invited me) and Shaun McInerney. Very exciting!. McInerney eventually won with Witt second after the Gamski car overdid a bend whilst trying to overtake the McInerney car. Having rejoined the Gamski car was again gaining rapidly when the race came to an end.
Macg racing Ultima was well on the pace and gaining ground when the wiring loom behind dash melted filling the cabin with smoke and causing fuel pump failure. Great shame and very disappointing for the team.
The car went very well and it would be amazing to have the support of a load of Ultimas turning up to spectate at some of the next races. I can't do the next at Donnington on 7 May but will try to be there for the rest.

Hi Mark, glad you enjoyed your day - it really did go down to the wire.

It was such a disappointing day for us, but in hindsight we were very lucky that there was not more damage to the car (or the driver!) - decided to make some significant changes to the car for the next round including wiring (as that now needs replacing anyway!) and the fuelling system. No doubt post an update on here in due course...

Thanks for your support today, was good to see some Ultima supporters there!

You should be able to get into the pits without any issues - though I guess you wont be able to park in the paddock. Be good to have as many supporters as possible!

Currently working on some major changes before Donington....

Oh yes, I like that. Good to see a GTR in real race conditions and driven like it should be. Great and would love to see more, so keep them coming please. Small suggestion.... Would be nice to have a rear view camera in a corner of the sceen to see whats going on behind too

Indeed it would - something else to add to the wishlist! Hopefully get that sorted in due course. Also have some exterior footage of pitstops etc so going to make a short promotional film after the next round and we will post it up.

Great idea and looking forward on seeing some more. If I recall, Pete had a rear view camera split in the main screen

Cool video and good to an Ultima back on track again.

What is the ticking/knocking noise on r/h corners?

It's wheel rub as we altered the ride height a touch from Silverstone...got to trim a bit more bodywork!

How much camber are you running on the front wheels?

You must have it running very low if you are still rubbing bodywork with 4 deg of camber.

are you running wider tyres than standard on the front, to get the bodywork rubbing?
